Sherrie is a shareholder in the accounting firm of Davidson, Freedle, Espenhover & Overby, P.C. She has been with the firm since 1991. Sherrie also serves on the council of St. Mary's Catholic School in Fredericksburg and currently chairs the Policies Committee. She is also involved in "ACTS" movement where she has served as a director and co-directed women's ACTS retreats. She is an active member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, where ser serves as Eucharistic Minister. She and her husband Bill have four children. Sherrie was elected to the Foundation's board in 2006 and currently serves on the Investment and Grant Review Committees. |

Robert Kelly |
Rob and his late wife, Dr. Pat Van Reet, have lived in Kerrville since 1993. Rob has practiced law for over 33 years. Before moving to the Hill Country, he was a partner in the biggest law firm in San Antonio where he served on the management committee. He is a member of Who’s Who in American Law. In 1994, he was almost elected the first Republican Chief Justice of the Court of Appeals in San Antonio. After the late vote count out of South Texas, he lost by less than 1/2% of almost 500,000 votes cast. While he still does commercial litigation, he also does general practice but specializes in alternate dispute resolution. He is currently on the ADR Council of the State Bar of Texas.He is a past president of the Kerrville School Board. He has been associated with Habitat for Humanity for over 20 years in San Antonio and Kerrville where he served three terms as president. He is a member of the First United Methodist Church in Kerrville where he teaches Sunday school. He is a past lay director for the Hill Country Emmaus Community and Walk to Emmaus. He is on the Unit Advisory Council for the Torres Unit of Kairos Prison Ministries and will lead a Kairos team into prison this September. He has taught biblical principles of dispute resolution to various church, community, and civic groups. His hobbies include sailing, traveling, and horseback riding.Rob became a member of the Board of Trustees in 2007 and currently serves on the Grants Review Committee and the Development Committee. |

Bill is a financial consultant with A.G. Edwards, a division of Wachovia Securities, LLC. Bill is currently the President of the National Alliance for the Mentally Ill in Kerrville, Past Treasurer for the National Alliance for the Mentally Ill of Texas and President of the Hill Country Council for the Mentally Ill. Bill has served on numerous boards with organizations in the Kerrville area. He and his wife Tricia have two children. His hobbies include tennis, woodworking and snow skiing. |

Rick McManigle - Executive Director |
Rick currently holds the title Executive Director of the Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country - His responsibilities include managing the operations of the foundation and its funds, development of new donations and community outreach. In addition he is also an adjunct professor in the Government Department at Austin Community College. Prior to his Community Foundation position, he served in various positions utilizing his skills and experiences as a fundraiser for institutions of higher education, government relations executive representing business interests of the Greater Austin Metropolitan area, on staff for three different elected officials in the Texas Legislature, and managing an oil well services business. He holds a Bachelor of Arts of degree in history with a minor in political science from the University of Texas-Permian Basin and a Master of Arts degree in political science from Texas State University. Rick has been active with various community organizations including serving a second three year appointed term on the St. Mary’s Catholic School Council. As a Council member he is the current President. He is the past chair of the Marketing, Enrollment & Communications Committee and Policy Committee. He is a member of the Kerrville Noon Rotary; the St. Joseph’s Society in Fredericksburg; and he is a coach in the Upward Basketball Program at the First Baptist Church in Fredericksburg. He is an active member in the St. Mary’s Catholic Church parish where he volunteers as a cantor. He and his wife Dianne (a native of Fredericksburg) have two children, Matthew Alexander and Katherine Ann who are current students at St. Mary’s School. |

Lyndia Rector |
Lyndia was born and raised in Kerrville. After graduating from Tivy High School she attended the University of Texas where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing and worked primarily in the Emergency Room before teaching Medical-Surgical Nursing. In 1964 Lyndia married Dr. William Rector and they have enjoyed living in Japan, Denver, Nashville, and Mobile. In 1980 the had the opportunity to move back “home”. Lyndia then left nursing to become a full time wife and mother to their two children. She has enjoyed many volunteer opportunities within the Kerrville community. In 1986 she bought her current retail gift business, Cricket’s, and in 1999 opened her second retail store, Hill Country Living, specializing in tableware. Lyndia has been actively involved in the restoration of downtown Kerrville. She was instrumental in establishing the Kerrville Main Street program and has served on that board as well as the Arcadia Theater Board and the Kerrville Downtown Business Association. Her businesses are currently in buildings that her and her husband have bought and restored. In addition to serving on the Community Foundation Board she also is a member of the Board of the Dietert Center. Lyndia currently serves on the Grants Review Committee of the Community Foundation. |

Roy is the President and CEO of Union State Bank in Kerrville. He is the current Chairman of the Kerrville Economic Foundation; past board member of the Museum of Western Art; past chairman and board member of the Kerrville Area Chamber of Commerce; and founding member of the Young Men’s Business League. He is a member of the First United Methodist Church. He and his wife, Melanie have three children. |

Paul Urban – Vice President |
Paul is a graduate of Comfort High School. He has been involved in banking in Comfort since 1970 and currently serves as Vice President and Office CEO of Bank of the Hills in Comfort. Paul is active in the Hill Country community. He currently serves as president of the Comfort Public Educational Foundation, treasurer of the Kendall County Economic Development Corporation, and secretary of the Kendall County Health Facilities Development Corporation. He is a board member of the Comfort Golden Age Center and the Kendall County Extension Service. He is past chairman and board member of the Hill Country Memorial Health System and past president of the Centurions of Kendall County. Paul was elected as a trustee of the Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country in 2004. He currently serves as Vice President and is chairman of the Investment Review Committee. He and his wife, Lynn, live in Kerrville. |
