Summit 2018

The Game Plan

September 25  |  Fredericksburg, Texas  |  Hill Country University Center

Why Summit?

Summit is the one event where you can learn and network with the best and the brightest in the Texas Hill Country. You will leave with the all the materials you need to take a "game plan" back to your team - and - to implement a strategy that will grow your nonprofit and inspire your audience.

Our hope for you:

We hope Summit will inspire you to create your own epic "game plan" for your organization! We want to help you build a strategy that will equip your team and grow your nonprofit!

Who will be there:

John Burnam & Carrie Gray of Burnam|Gray and Randy Vogel, Mary Hoffman, Makayla Matheson & Ed Del Conte of BKD are the featured speakers for the learning "tracks", along with about 100 of your closest Texas Hill Country nonprofit friends!

What to expect:

New for 2018: Choose from 2 learning "tracks" - Strategic Planning or Financial Planning. Speakers will use breakout sessions, hands-on labs and networking to present new ideas and changes in the nonprofit world.

The Game Plan

Each participant will choose one of two learning tracks.
Need help with STRATEGIC PLANNING? John Burnam will lead that track, presenting key ideas to implement that will help your organization to thrive.  Looking for help with FINANCIAL PLANNING?  Representatives from BKD have that covered with strategies that focus on the financial health of your organization.

Still on the Fence?

100% of last year's survey respondents said they would
recommend Summit to others!

Direct quotes taken from the surveys about last year's Summit event:

  • Very well done! Relevant topics, great presenters.
  • All presenters were very knowledgeable and therefore confident in their sessions.
  • The pace of the day is spot on--plenty of time for breaks worked in and I never feel hurried or rushed.
  • Incredibly up to date information in our very fast paced times that I can take back and start implementing immediately to improve our group.
  • The instructor was highly informed and passionate about his subject, which showed in his presentation and kept the class on the edge of their seats.
  • It is refreshing to know all nonprofits experience the same ups/downs whether it be with the changing grant process, board involvement, donor engagement...
