This scholarship was established by the Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country to honor students who exemplify good character, integrity, responsibility and leadership. One scholarship is offered to each of the 15 high schools listed.

Eligibility

Applicant must be a current graduating student from one of the following high schools: Bandera, Boerne, Boerne Champion, Center Point, Comfort, Fredericksburg, Harper, Heritage, Hill Country, Ingram, Medina, Nueces Canyon, Our Lady of the Hills, Sabinal, Tivy. Applicant must have a minimum 3.0 GPA to be considered. Applicant should exemplify good character, integrity, responsibility, and leadership. Applicant must be able to provide lists of extracurricular activities, community and volunteer work, and honors and awards in their application.

Selection Criteria

Selection is based on academic and extracurricular achievement, community service, and financial need. One scholarship is offered to each of the 15 high schools listed. Recipient must be accepted full-time in an accredited college, university or trade school before award decision. Scholarship is null and void if not accepted within one year of award date.
