The Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country is a public charitable foundation created by and for the residents of the Texas Hill Country. It is a collection of component funds pooled together for maximum philanthropic impact. Established in 1981, the Foundation serves nonprofits and donors in Bandera, Blanco, Edwards, Gillespie, Kendall, Kerr, Kimble, Mason, Real, and Uvalde counties. Through grantmaking, investments, nonprofit education, and civic leadership, the Community Foundation continually supports a thriving Hill Country. It is the civic strategy of choice for those wanting to create their own charitable legacy for their community.
