This scholarship fund was established in memory of Makenna Lee Elrod, who was killed May 24, 2022, at Robb Elementary School In Uvalde, Texas. This scholarship will support Uvalde High School graduates pursuing their dreams through higher education.

Eligibility
Applicant must be a graduating student from Uvalde High School. Applicant must have attended school for at least one full year at Uvalde CISD. Applicant must be pursuing a degree or certification from a college, university, trade, or vocational school.
Selection Criteria
Selection is based on financial need and personal and academic accomplishments. Recipient must be accepted full-time into an accredited technical school, vocational school, college, or university as an undergrad student before award decisions. The scholarship award is null and void if not accepted within one year of award date.
