Eligibility
Applicant must be graduating from or be a graduate of a Gillespie County public or private high school OR be a resident of Gillespie, Kendall, Kerr, Kimble, Mason, Llano or Blanco counties, with an intent to pursue an undergraduate/graduate business degree at an accredited college/university offering classes at Hill Country University Center. Applicant must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and must be accepted/enrolled at least six hours per semester at HCUC. Applicant must include an essay explaining why they should be considered for the scholarship and what impact the scholarship will have on them.
Selection Criteria
Selection is based on financial need and academic achievement, as well as content of essay submitted. Applicant must be accepted at Hill Country University Center prior to award decision. The scholarship award is null and void if not accepted within one year of award date.
