The Spannagel Vocational Education Scholarship was created to honor the lasting legacies of Billy Wayne Spannagel, a vocational educator with over 35 years of service, and his son, Dale Robin Spannagel, a certified aircraft maintenance technician. This scholarship will be awarded to a graduating student from Kerr County who has been accepted into a vocational training program, with preference given to applicants pursuing certification in an aviation mechanics program.

Selection Criteria
Selection is based on financial need and personal accomplishments. Recipient must be accepted into an accredited vocational program before award decisions. The scholarship award will be forfeited if not accepted by December 31st of the award year.
